I bought these as a last minute fix to mask a bad hair cut, so I’ve spent a lot of time working with them to get the right color and curl pattern the last couple of days. So this is very thorough, however it’s long so please bear with me to get all the info. The only things I have to compare this hair with are the photo & description, and a set of OneDor synthetic clip in’s I’d purchased several years ago and only wore a few times for fun. Comparing to the photo, the hair is not as thick as I’d expected. Also, although the description says that the length is measured with it stretched out, due to the thin ends it seems much shorter. If you’re going for length expect to cut 3 inches off to get any sort of thickness. I’ve included photo’s of it laying out like the description photo, for comparison. A couple of the side edges of the hair came off and as I wasnt sure if it was excess or poor stitching, I ran some super glue along the top stitching and around the corners to the side edges. I used soft black henna & indigo dye’s and it colored beautifully. I ordered dark brown and it is reddish as expected, but was a bit lighter than I thought it would be. The photo is definitely true to color (on an iPhone 8) As far as being 100% human hair, I’d say it definitely is but there are a few strands of gold and pink plastic like strands running through it. I’m not even sure why they would be in there except maybe they are manufactured on the same equipment as costume hair and they accidentally got in there. The human hair is very soft and does not shed. I’ve had some but minimal, breakage (but I colored it and put perm rods in it) I am impressed with the quality and how it doesn’t tangle. I love that it looks so much more real and natural on my head compared to the OneDor (which is beautiful, thick, real looking and I love, but my hair is not thick and being synthetic I can’t get a matching curl pattern - so, on me the OneDo did not look natural). When I curled this hair some short pieces popped out (see photo) I think this just may be where it was folded over to sew. It curled really good (with water, a little mousse & perm rods) I had to spray it with some water after I took the rods out, to relax the curl to match my waves. I’m not sure about the triple wefting as compared to an internet search photo you cannot tell due to the thicker lace that is on this one. It did add thickness to my hair and looks natural which is what I was going for, but I did want to add length and wish I’d have realized the ends were so thin because I would have spent a little more and got the longer ones. The clips are different than the other ones I’ve had, or any photos I’ve seen and I was afraid they wouldn’t hold well but they did fine. They seem a bit cheaper and thinner than other clips and left a little soreness at the base of my neck after wearing a couple of hours. But that may be because of the extra weight on my thin hair or I had them too low. The ones higher were fine. It came with two extra clips, a net and storage bag. Overall I am pretty happy with it and hopefully I can make it work to mask this bad hair cut but I guess I won’t be adding length. It’s beautiful hair and compared to most Remy clip in prices this is unbeatable!
